"Pretty Nifty" Review

Here is my review of the Our Generation set, "Pretty Nifty." I received this set for my birthday, and I really love how versatile this set is. I personally intend to use this set historically (1950's), but this set can totally work for modern dolls.

This handkerchief is oh so cute! The handkerchief is made up of a white thin fabric, and is bordered by lace detailing. In the picture the handkerchief is folded, but it can be "spread out."

Here is the lemon colored bag. This bag is more like a purse, since the handle is not very long. There is a zipper to open it, and a strap Velcros over. This bag is a bit small so you cannot fit much in it, but I fit the handkerchief in there fine.

These sunglasses are winsome! The lens are gray, and a turquoise frame outlines the top and nose bridge. I especially love how the frame has white polka dots. 

The completed set is really nice. The yellow and turquoise add a nice splash of color to this set. These accessories really will look cute with some retro doll clothes I have.

AG Irish Dance Costume

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I decided to take a picture of Felicity in the retired AG Irish Dance Costume. This is such a great outfit because the details are phenomenal. This set even comes with a wig which is super soft and curly. The wig is attached to a headband which you put on the doll's head. It seriously makes Felicity look like that is her natural hair! (It covers her real hair so well)

Shall Oui Go? Review

Here is my review of the Our Generation, "Shall Oui Go?" Outfit.

I received this outfit for Christmas, and love it.

The coat is gray and is made of a thick material. The coat has buttons, but you cannot button them. Instead there is Velcro underneath a flap to shut it securely. A belt with a bow skims across the waistline. The only thing I really dislike about the coat is that OG put its logo near the bottom. The colors of the logo don't match the coat, making the logo seem random, tacky, and annoying.

This set also comes with a beret. The beret is red and has a gray flower on it (the same color as the coat). The beret compliments the dress nicely, and adds a pop of color.

The boots are black, and have red fur (the same color as the beret) lining the top. The boots are made of a weird material. 

Here is the outfit all together. The colors really compliment one another, and add a pinch of fun. This set also comes with a pair of mittens, but I forgot to include them.

I was on the Barnes & Noble website earlier today, and I made a discovery!

Two American Girl Books are available to be Pre-Ordered for a new doll named Maryellen!

AG In Store Exclusive Review

One of the gifts that I received for my birthday was the In Store Exclusive that you can only get from the American Girl Store.

Here is the dress itself. It consists of a pink jeweled neckline, and a purple bow across the waistline.

The fabric is a baby blue leopard print. This dress is very light weight, so it would be perfect in the spring/summer, or for on the go. The colors in this dress are very cute!

Here is a close up of the baby blue leopard print fabric. These colors are very delicate together and look sort of like clouds.

I cannot get over how adorable these shoes are! These shoes are violet, and remind me of Crocs. 

I can definitely use these with bathing suites, and the material is phenomenal. I think these shoes are actually water proof!

Here is the completed outfit. The Crocs and the dress really suite one another. I will admit, when I first saw this outfit on a blog I was a bit skeptical. It looked a tiny bit babyish, but it is really cute on the dolls.
