Julie's Swim Set Review

Today I am going to review one of the American Girl outfits I received for Christmas.
Julie's Swimsuit Set is adorable, and it is a really nice item.

The bathing suit top is so cute! The pattern is flowers and butterflies,
and lace borders some sides of the top. I love how when you put the
top on the doll, it ties around the neck. The top is so colorful and fun.

Here is an up close of the pattern on the suit. This pattern is very colorful
                               with butterflies and flowers.

The bottom of the bathing suit has the same pattern as the top.

The flip flops are red, and have shiny straps. The material of the flip flops
feels like foam. I love how there is a clear strap towards the back of the
flip flops so they will not fall off the doll's feet.

The towel is a great bonus to the set. The quality is awesome and
it is super colorful and cheery. The flowers and rainbow blend well
                                 and make this towel unique.

These red sunglasses are a great accessory for this outfit. They can
easily be used in other outfits, and seem durable.

Overall, this is an amazing set full of beautiful detail and quality.
I would recommend this to anyone because of the great value of
                                 each part of the set.

My Overall Rating: (1 worst - 5 best)

Today I am going to share with you some pictures I took of my doll Kanani.
This photo shoot was Christmas themed, and was taken with my tree.
This is sort of random, but I am going to rename Kanani soon, so if you want to comment name suggestions that would be awesome. I have a couple in mind though....

GOTY 2015

The AG World has been buzzing about the GOTY, with theories, news, etc.
She has not came out yet, but we do know some things about her.

1. Her name is Grace; her name had been trademarked online.

2. Grace has two best friends, Ella (a math wiz), and Maddy (an artist). These names were released with the audition information for the movie, so I am not sure if they are just code names.

3. Grace is from Massachusetts. In the book description on Amazon, Grace lives in Massachusetts.

4. Grace is French. In the book description we know she goes to Paris with her mom, and visits her cousin.

5. Grace starts a French baking business with her friends. (Also in the Book Description). Her grandparents own a bakery that might be closing, which Grace wants to save.

6. Grace has a puppy which she will train. (Also in the Book Description).

Here are the Book Descriptions found on Amazon...

Book 1.

Nine-year-old GOTY is always thinking up big ideas, like starting a business with her friends over the summer! When Mom announces a trip to Paris instead, GOTY gets on board, but it quickly seems as if none of her plans are working out the way she'd hoped. She and her French cousin aren't getting along, and GOTY's friends back home have started a business without her. Can she find the courage to stay open to new ideas and turn the summer around?

Book 2

Back home in Massachusetts, GOTY is excited to start a new French baking business with her friends, and to have an adorable new dog to train, too! But she quickly learns that both the business and the dog are big responsibilities, especially when her energetic pup has difficulty adjusting to her new home. GOTY does her best to give her pet what she needs to be happy. Can she also help her friends blend their unique talents, and whip up a recipe for a successful business?

Book 3

When GOTY learns that her grandparents' bakery might be closing after 30 years, she's crushed. She can't imagine her life (or her hometown) without the bakery. And how can her own business survive if the one that inspired her cannot? GOTY wonders if she and her friends can find a way to help the bakery using their talents and newfound business skills. Can three girls really make a difference? GOTY is determined to try.

AG Winter 2014 Release Opinions

Hello!
Today I am going to show you the new AG Holiday releases, and give my opinions on them.
You can comment which outfit is your favorite, and also your favorite holiday dress AG has ever released.

           Silver Shimmer Dress

I personally am not really a fan of this outfit because I think
there is too much silver. Plus, I really dislike the length of the dress,
it should be longer, or at least come with tights. The shoes are
cute though, as are the ruffles on the dress.

             Winter White Outfit

The white in this outfit seems blinding. I really
feel like this outfit is unnatural, and seems way too
layered. Plus, it would get dirty very easily.
The only thing I do like is how easy this outfit is to
mix and match.

         Happy Holiday Dress

I like this outfit, while I dislike it. The color
is gorgeous, but I feel like red would look better.
Maybe because I am more traditional, but
red seems like more of a Christmas color than blue.
Yet I still feel like this dress is very enchanting
for winter time; like a snowflake.

                 Fair Isle Pajamas

My favorite part of this set is the pants.
The pants have a sweater design, and look
like candy canes. The shirt has cute embroidery
and looks warm. The boots look sort of flimsy,
but I must admit that they are cute.

      "Hit the Slopes" Collection

Too much money. $34 for an outfit and
$42 for the skis and helmet. No way.
The skis and helmet are cute, but look like
plastic. The jacket seems crazy, and of course
AG has to advertise their company on it with AG
written all over the sleeves.

              Sparkly Skating Set

The colors look like Elsa from Frozen.
I feel like AG should be more creative with
this outfit, and go for a different color scheme.
The skates are cute, yet the dress seems too short.
I feel like there should be tights, if this outfit was actually
worn by figure skaters they'd get cold.

         Western Plaid Outfit

AG definitely wanted to reach out to Nicki fans.
This outfit is very interesting. The boots have bands
on them that I dislike. The belt on the dress is cute though.

         Pretty Pink Riding Outfit

This outfit costs too much money, but it is cute.
The scarf and boots are adorable, and I overall
like the use of color. This outfit would be even more
awesome if it came with a helmet.
